Abstract: Using the phytopathological methods, the biological characteristics of mycetozoan isolated from raspberry(Rubus idaeus L.) was tested. The results showed that the plasmodium of mycetozoan could grow on the eight different mediums, such as PDA,PSA,oatmeal agar medium, raspberry leaf powder medium, czapek's medium, water agar medium, rose bengal medium, corn flour medium. Among these mediums the colony on raspberry leaf powder growed best, with the diameter up to 8.45 cm.Optimum carbon source was lactose and starch, and the optimum nitrogen source was arginine, the optimum pH was 6,the optimum growth temperature was 30 ℃,24 h continuous darkness had the best effect on colony growth.

Key words: raspberry(Rubus idaeus L.), mycetozoan, plasmodium, biological characteristics
