Abstract: Based on collecting and organizing the National Important Agricultural Heritage Systems, the spatial distribution features of National Important Agricultural Heritage Systems were studied from the spatial distribution pattern, different spatial scales and different types of heritage by applying methods of GIS spatial analysis and mathematical statistics. The result showed that the spatial distribution of National Important Agricultural Heritages remained in a type of agglomeration as a whole with the clustered form in some local regions. Besides, there was a high gathering degree of distribution on the Three terrain ladders and Three economic regions while an unbalanced spatial distribution of provincial regions. The distribution of different types of heritage indicated their own characteristics and rationalities with influence of personality features. Through the general analysis on the spatial distribution of Chinese important agricultural heritage and personality analysis on distribution of different types of agricultural cultural heritage, it is of important instructional significance to explore the existence possibility of agricultural heritage in the future in process of further investigation and survey.
