Abstract: Pot experiments were carried out to study the effects of potassium levels on the contents of aroma components in tobacco leaves. The aroma components in tobacco under different potassium levels were analyzed by headspace solid phase micro-extraction combined with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, and the contents of petroleum ether extraction were also determined. Compared with the potassium level of 5.0 g per plant, the content of petroleum ether extract was higher than that at the level of 2.5 g per plant. 49 components with matching degree of more than 90% were detected, mainly composed of alkanes, alkenes, aldehydes, phenol, acids, ester, ketones, furans. There was an increase in the relative content of aldehydes in the aroma components induced by higher potassium levels, while the accumulation of ketones decreased at 10.0 g per plant.
