Analysis of Adaptability and Stability of Maize Regional Trial Varieties in Hubei Province by Using GGE-Biplot

Abstract

Abstract: A regional variety test with maize（Zea mays L.） in Hubei Province in 2009 as an example，the application of GGE-Biplot in evaluating the variety of adaptability，yield-ability，stability and the locations of identification and representativeness was introduced. The results of analysis showed that Hk9509，Sx0759，Hz06148 and Kn0901 possessed high stability and productive level. Yichang，Changyang Tujia autonomous county and Jianshi county possessed high distinguishability. The locations of Enshi，Xiantao and Changyang Tujia autonomous county possessed high representativeness. Based on the location distinguishability effects and representativeness of the variety was estimated. As a result，Changyang Tujia autonomous county and Yichang are more appropriate locations.
