Preliminary Study on Controlling Underground Pests in Tobacco with Crude Extract of Polygonum hydroiper

Abstract

Abstract: ： The crude extract of Polygonum hydroiper was used as a plant source pesticide to prevent and control the underground pest of tobacco. The experiment showed that the crude extract of Polygonum hydroiper could effectively prevent and control the underground insect of 5~15 days after planting. It had long duration and no effect on the growth of tobacco, and the control effect could reach 45%~80%; The control efficacy of liquid mixture was 66%~80%, and it was 35%~60% higher than that of the efficacy of high performance permethrin.
