Study on Tibetan medicinal ethnic botany in Banma area,Qinghai

Abstract: An investigation was conducted on the Tibetan medicinal ethnobotany in the Banma region of Qinghai. The results show that there are 478 Tibetan medicinal plants belonging to 228 genera of 70 families in the Banma area. The Tibetans are unique in terms of selecting medicinal plant species, medicinal parts, harvest season, processing and drinking methods. For the protection and sustainable use of medicinal plant resources in the region, corresponding suggestions were put forward.
