Abstract: Using literature research method, the preliminary study on the medicinal plant species and their medicinal efficacy mentioned in Changjuan, a Tibetan medicine collection in Dunhuang was carried out. The results showed that there are 79 species of traditional Chinese medicinal plants with 41 families, of which 63.4% are single family plants. The paper provides a statistical analysis of the geographical distribution of these plants and the medicinal parts.
