Abstract: Taking Fuzhou city as the research object, based on the four aspects of population structure, living standards, land structure, and land-use input-output, a coordinated development evaluation index system for population urbanization and land urbanization was constructed, and using the coordinated development model as the research method, the coordinated development relationship between population and land in Fuzhou from 2007 to 2016 was analyzed. The results show that the coordinated relationship between population urbanization and land urbanization in Fuzhou city has developed from serious disorder to a moderate one. The state of coordination between population and land urbanization has shifted from a lagging type of severely imbalanced land lagging type of primary coordination population lagging type. Fuzhou's population and land urbanization rate are relatively consistent, but the population urbanization rate is slightly insufficient.
