Study on the quality measurement and spatial difference comparison of urbanization of prefecture level cities in Henan and Shaanxi provinces

Abstract

Abstract: On the basis of the analysis of the quality of urbanization, from 4 aspects of the quality of economic development, the quality of social development, the quality of space environment and the quality of urban and rural integration, 19 indexes were selected to construct the index system of urbanization quality evaluation and conduct the comprehensive measurement and analysis of the urbanization of 29 cities in Henan province and Shaanxi province by entropy method. Then, clustering analysis was carried out according to the comprehensive score. The spatial difference of the results was compared, and some feasible suggestions were put forward, so as to enhance the quality of urbanization of metropolitan area and provide a theoretical basis for promoting the construction of “The Belt and Road”. The results showed that the average level of urbanization in Henan province was higher than that of Shaanxi province, but the development level of urbanization in Shaanxi province was more balanced than that of Henan province. The quality of economic development and social development in Henan province were less than that of Shaanxi province, but the quality of space development and urban and rural integration were stronger than that of Shaanxi province.
