Research on the development strategy of food tourism from the perspective of tourism industry cluster：A case study of Huanggang city Hubei province

Abstract

Abstract: The location entropy theory was used to measure the tourism industry cluster related indexes of Huanggang city and its subordinate counties and cities in 2017. The results show that Huanggang's total tourism area entropy index is 1.25, showing a clear cluster trend; Macheng（1.62）, Hongan（2.53）, Luotian（3.03）, Yingshan（3.89） have formed an industrial agglomeration trend; and in Huangzhou（0.96）, Tuanfeng（0.85）, Qichun（0.82）, there has been a clear cluster trend. Based on the characteristics, development advantages and limiting factors of the food tourism resources in Huanggang city, the development strategies of food tourism in Huanggang city is analyzed from the perspective of industrial clusters.
