Comparison test of greenhouse cultivation of seven bitter gourd varieties

Abstract: The growth period,growth potential,fruit characters and yield of seven bitter gourd(Momordica charantia L.) varieties were compared in greenhouse.The results showed that the comprehensive characters of Qingfengwang and Changqing were better,which could be used as early maturing varieties in greenhouse of Huanggang suburban vegetable base;Duruanlianggua-1 and Heikugua-1 can enrich residents' vegetable basket as later autumn varieties,and the relevant cultivation techniques need further study.
