Abstract: To explore the effects of Cd2+ stress on physiological characteristics of wheat(Triticum aestivum L.) variety Shangmai 1619 regional test control variety seedling, taking Shangmai 1619 and Xiaoyan 15 as tested materials, chlorophyll content, photosynthetic physiological parameters and antioxidant enzyme activities of wheat seeding under different Cd2+ stresses were determined under hydroponic conditions. The results showed that, after Cd2+ stress, chlorophyll content, net photosynthetic rate (Pn), transpiration rate(Tr), stomatal conductance(Gs), intercellular CO2 concentration (Ci), superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and peroxidase(POD) activity of two wheat cultivars all decreased. Catalase(CAT) activity and malondialdehyde(MDA) content in Shangmai 1619 increased, while that of Xiaoyan 15 decreased. Comparatively speaking, Shangmai 1619 showed weaker resistance than Xiaoyan 15 under Cd2+ stress.
