Abstract: Taking the Lianyungang Shugang Channel combined with water supply project as the research object, the influence on the ecological environment of the land area and water area during the construction period and operation period is analyzed. The results show that the project construction covers a total area of 302.13 hm2, the construction surface is bare, and the natural system production capacity suffers a certain loss; The implementation of the project reduced the biomass of the regional natural system by 10 855.8 t, accounting for 0.51% of the total biomass of the entire study area; After the completion of the project, the river flow rate and self-purification capacity are increased, and the water quality is improved. The vegetation recovery rate of the whole project area reaches 97%, and the coverage rate of forest and grass reaches 22%. By increasing surface vegetation and improving soil properties, soil permeability can be increased and soil erosion can be reduced.
