Abstract: For the first time, using HS-SPME and GC-MS to extract and analyze the volatile constituents in Aster tataricus L.f. and its honey-roasted products. The results show that 85 peaks were detected from Asteris radix et rhizoma, 70 components were identified, accounting for 92.66% of volatile components; 75 peaks were detected from its honey-roasted products, 63 components were identified, accounting for 90.54% of volatile components. And there were 36 common components. The total ion flow diagram of their volatile components are somewhat similar, but their composition and content are different. At the same time, this experiment provides scientific basis for further development and utilization of Aster tataricus L.f. resources.
