Analysis on volatile components of wild cherry extract and its application

Abstract: The volatile components of wild cherry extract were analyzed by GC-MS. A total amount of 27 volatile components were identified from wild cherry extract, including 3,4,5-trimethoxy-benzoic acid, scopoletin, benzoic acid, 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzyl alcohol, accounting for 33.21%, 23.77%, 12.01% and 10.45% respectively, which constituted the main body flavor of wild cherry extract. The wild cherry extract can mellow the tobacco fragrance and improve the quality of tobacco products effectively.
