Abstract: According to the temperature and humidity characteristics of four seasons in Wuhan city, four different temperatures (8, 18, 28, 35 ℃) and air relative humidity (55%, 75%, 85%, 90%) were set to study the mould of peanut and calculate the mould rate. Two strains were isolated and inoculated from moldy peanut by dilution plate method. The results showed that the mould rate of peanut seeds reached 80.0% under the condition of 90% humidity and temperature of 28 ℃. It was preliminarily identified as Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus niger by morphological observation and microscope.

Key words: peanut, seed mildew, Aspergillus flavus, Aspergillus niger
