Effects of different planting density on morphology index and yield of Premna microphylla Turcz.

Abstract: To explore the effects of different planting density on morphology index and yield of Premna microphylla Turcz.,selected fourgermchitscoming from Anhui province,Henan province,Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture,Baokang county of Hubei province,carrying on 3 kinds of different density cultivation experiment (The plant row spacing were 20cm×80cm,30cm×80cm,40cm×100cm).The results showed that a significant difference in yield and pectin content of Premna microphylla Turcz.,the yield of fresh leaf coming from Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture tree was highest,the average yield of fresh leaf of each tree was 2500g every year.The pectin content coming from Anhui province tree was highest,the average pectin content per kilogram of leaves was 35.25%.Different planting density had obvious effect on the yield.The plant row spacing of 30cm×80cm was the best for the growth of Premna microphylla Turcz.The average annual fresh leaf yield per plant was 2269g.
