Abstract: The rural land management in China can be divided into enterprise management, farmers' professional cooperatives, family farms and farmers' self-cultivation mode. There are obvious differences in production costs, performance and management risks under different land management modes.Through the field investigation in Longfeng town,Enshi city,it is found that in the aspects of performance, production costs and management risks, enterprise management, farmers' professional cooperatives, family farms and self-cultivation are all in turn from high to low.The input cost is positively correlated with income, and the management risk is positively correlated with investment. Therefore,it is suggested that emphasis should be placed on supporting two business models such as farmers' professional cooperatives and family farms. On the premise of retaining the necessary land for self-cultivation,we should guide and encourage the circulation of land, promote large-scale management, and improve the efficiency of land use.
