Abstract: The antimicrobial activity of the methanol extract of Acacia confusa and its different extraction parts were studied. Ultrasonic extraction was used to extract the components of Acacia confusa, the antimicrobial activity of the extracts against 11 phytopathogenic fungi was determined by the mycelial growth rate method, and the extracts against 14 species of animals pathogenic bacteria were determined by the liquid medium dilution method and the filter paper method. The antimicrobial activities of the extracts were determined by liquid-liquid extraction to preliminarily separate the antimicrobial active ingredients and determine the antibacterial activity of each extract. The results showed that the methanol extract of Acacia confusa has broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity. At a concentration of 10.0 g/L, it had inhibitory activity against 8 kinds of plant pathogenic fungi and 9 kinds of animal pathogenic bacteria. Among them, the inhibitory rate against Brassica oleracea, Exserohilum turcicum and Ceratocystis paradoxa reached more than 89.55%, and the minimum inhibitory concentration against Bacillus cereus, Bacillus subtilis and Shigella dysenteriae was 1.0 g/L; Acacia confusa had inhibitory effects on plant pathogenic fungi and animal pathogenic bacteria, and the action parts were n-butanol and ethyl acetate.
