Abstract: Taking seven kinds of public buildings in Mumian village, He village, Simadi village and Zhongling village in Beiliu city as the research objects, eight evaluation indexes such as safety, accessibility and cognition are selected. The entropy weight method is used to determine the index weight, and then the grey correlation degree method is used to quantitatively analyze the suitability of rural public buildings in Beiliu city for rural construction. The results show that the influence of evaluation indexes on the suitability of rural public buildings is ranked as accessibility, safety, functional practicability, culturality, cognition, belongingness, regionality and appreciation. The suitability of seven rural public buildings for rural construction is ranked as library, gallery, village history museum, lecture hall, theatre, council hall and public toilet. Finally, the correlation coefficients of various indicators of rural public buildings are compared in the form of broken line chart, and the reasons for the low suitability of rural public buildings are analyzed and corresponding countermeasures are proposed.
