Abstract: Based on the background of rural revitalization strategy, taking 580 farmers in Shangluo city as survey samples, a quantitative survey on five aspects of information demand type, information infrastructure, information acquisition channel, information acquisition degree and information service satisfaction was made by means of the questionnaire, and statistical analysis on the data was made by using SPSS software. The results were compared with those from 2010 to 2018. The results show that farmers’ information demand and information acquisition channels have changed greatly in recent 10 years. At present, the hot spots of farmers’ information demand are food safety and medical health. The practitioners of new agricultural business entities still pay high attention to agricultural production information, and the overall demand for agricultural production, policies and regulations information is gradually weakened. Most farmers can obtain information by themselves, but less valuable information. Neighborhood communication and mobile phone consultation are the main channels for farmers to obtain information. Technical training and TV programs are still important but significantly reduced. Farmers are satisfied with the overall evaluation of information services, highly satisfied with agricultural production and children’s education, basically satisfied with medical health and food safety information services, and lowly satisfied with social services, market information and village management information services. On this basis, some suggestions to improve farmers’ information service are put forward.
