Study on the optimization of spatial form of Lingnan villages based on space syntax

Abstract

Abstract: Taking Yalang Village in Beiliu Town, Beiliu City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region as an example, based on the field research about the village space morphology elements, the road network space of Yalang Village was analyzed and refined. The axis model was established by Depthmap spatial syntax software, and the structural characteristics of the overall spatial form of the village were obtained. The road network space before and after planning was analyzed and compared from the four quantitative parameters of integration, connection, selection and intelligibility to verify the rationality and effectiveness of the planning scheme in the spatial form optimization of Lingnan villages. Finally, optimization strategies were put forward from three aspects, including improving the village road system, combining the results of syntactic parameter analysis and activating the village vitality, so as to provide a specific reference sample for the quantitative study of space syntax of traditional villages.
