Abstract: Using 12 cultivated varieties and 2 wild domesticated varieties of kiwifruit(Actinidia chinensis) with a certain planting scale in Wuhan as test materials, the chlorophyll fluorescence parameter Fv/Fm method and semi-lethal high temperature were used to evaluate the heat tolerance of kiwifruit. The results showed that the chlorophyll fluorescence parameters Fv/Fm value of the kiwifruit cultivar in Wuhan area ranged from 0.585 5 to 0.815 5, and the semi-lethal high temperature (LT50) ranged from 51.13 to 61.34 ℃. The chlorophyll fluorescence parameter and the semi-lethal high temperature can accurately reflect the heat resistance of kiwifruit varieties, and the results of systematic cluster analysis indicated that Jinkui and Jingjiuxiang have strong heat resistance, Jianxiang has the poorest heat tolerance, and Miliang 1, Jinyan, Jinshan and so on have moderate heat resistance.

Key words: kiwifruit(Actinidia chinensis), heat tolerance, chlorophyll fluorescence, semi-lethal high temperature
