Evaluating Varieties and Test Sites in the 2017 Rice Regional Trials of Hubei Province by GGE Biplot Based on Genstat

Abstract: To analyze the high yield, stability production and adaptability performance of rice varieties and the representativeness and discrimination of test sites in regional trials, the GGE biplot based on Genstat was employed to identify 12 varieties from 10 test sites of A group in the 2017 rice regional trials of Hubei province. The results showed that, ‘Shenliangyou10’, ‘Liangliangyou1212’, ‘Longjingyou4393’ and ‘Xiangyou5327’ had higher yield; ‘Liangliangyou1212’, ‘Longjingyou4393’,‘Juliangyou639’ and ‘Shenliangyou10’ had better stability production performance; The yield of‘Xiangyou5327’was high while its stability was low, which still had application value for production. Shayang, Huanggang, and Xiaonan had the greater representativeness and discrimination.
