Application Analysis on 1-Deoxynojirimycin from Mulberry Leaf

Abstract

Abstract: 1-Deoxynojirimycin（DNJ） is abundant in mulberry leaf,as a inhibitor of α-glycosidases,which have antidiabetic activity and have a large pharmaceutical development prospect. The paper systematically illustrates and analyzes the extraction procedures for 1-Deoxynojirimycin,meanwhile,the analysis focused on the research progresses on hypoglycemic functions of mulberry DNJ and its deveopment at home and abroad.
