Abstract: Three different banana varieties were introduced, two transplanting periods were set, the adaptability of different banana varieties was discussed through the analysis of their morphological characteristics, leaf growth dynamics, yield related characters and suitability in Huangzhou district of Huanggang city of Hubei province. The results showed that the suitable transplanting period of banana variety A was before June 18;the suitable transplanting period of banana variety C was before August 26, and this variety banana was the early ripe banana variety, the growth period was about 12 months; the suitable transplanting time of banana variety B in Huangzhou district was yet to be determined by further studies. In Huangzhou district, from April to June and from October to November were the suitable period for banana growth. Therefore, in banana introduction and cultivation management, some agricultural practices such as fertilization can be carried out in advance to improve the yield and quality of banana.
