: Besides genetic factors, climatic factors play an important role in rice(Oryza sativa L.) quality formation. In the process of growth and development of rice, climatic factors not only have some impact on enrich degree in rice, dry matter accumulation rate and pollen fertility and other aspects, also affect rice starch synthesis-related activity changes, and these are important factors in the formation of rice quality. The impact of climatic factors in the temperature and light were reviewed four aspects:milling quality, appearance quality, cooking and eating quality and nutritional quality. The results showed that the suitable temperature and light conditions were favorable for the improvement of head rice rate and rice gel consistency, reducing chalky grain rate and chalkiness degree, decreasing protein content, which were low in daily mean temperature, large temperature difference between night and day, strong light and short of sunshine length. The suitable temperature and light conditions for reducing the alkali value and reducing amylose content were high daily temperature, small diurnal temperature difference, weak light intensity and short sunshine length. In production, according to the different climatic conditions, choose rice varieties with strong stress resistance, such as thermostability, high light or low temperature. Strengthening weather forecast, according to the rice filling stage of possible weather conditions, manual adjustment to avoid adverse weather conditions at the same time with the transplanting date, suitable cultivation management plays an important role in improving the quality of rice.

WANG Wen-li, ZENG Qian-qian, LIU Yan, QIU Zong-bo
    HUBEI AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES    2021, 60 (17): 135-138.   DOI: 10.14088/j.cnki.issn0439-8114.2021.17.028
    Abstract417)      PDF (3192KB)(532)       Save
Taking the gymnosperm Pinus densata as the experimental material, using the Pinus densata miRNA database constructed in the early stage of the laboratory, mir482a related to growth and development was screened by bioinformatics method, and NBS-LRR resistance protein (Unigenes45569) was verified to be the target gene of Pinus densata mir482a by RLM-5′ RACE method. The mir482a precursor sequence of Pinus densata cloned by PCR is 130 bp and can form a stable stem -loop hairpin structure, but the base conservation of its mature sequence is poor. Phylogeny showed that pde-mir482a had a close evolutionary relationship with the gymnosperm Picea europaea. qRT-PCR analysis showed that the expression of pde-mir482a was the highest in roots, followed by in stems. The expression level of target gene Unigenes45569 in roots and stems is relatively low, suggesting that pde-mir482a can participate in the growth and development of Pinus densata by regulating target gene NBS-LRR resistance protein (Unigenes45569).

    HUBEI AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES    2020, 59 (13): 72-76.   DOI: 10.14088/j.cnki.issn0439-8114.2020.13.017
    Abstract570)      PDF (1930KB)(632)       Save
An assessment system of water resources carrying capacity indicator was constructed according to pressure-state -response (PSR) framework, and the random samples were constructed based on index threshold. On this basis, the random forest algorithm was applied to evaluate the water resources carrying capacity in Hubei province. The results showed that the relationship between the index factors and the water resource carrying capacity could be well fitted by the random forest with a high accuracy. The scheme was of good maneuverability and certain application value. The random forest algorithm can recognize the importance of variable unbiased, and the research showed that the modulus of water demand and the modulus of water supply were the key factors affecting the carrying capacity of water resources in Hubei province. The spatial distribution of water resources carrying capacity in Hubei province was uneven. The carrying capacity of water resources in western Hubei and Xianning areas was of good grade, while that of eastern Hubei and middle Hubei was generalgrade. The Jianghan plain area with Wuhan as the core belonged to poorgrade. It was suggested that regional management of water resources should be strengthened to promote the development of water resources conservation ability and economic society synchronously.

LYU Ze-fang, GAO Zhen-zhen, LIU Zhang-yong, JIN Tao
    HUBEI AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES    2020, 59 (15): 60-65.   DOI: 10.14088/j.cnki.issn0439-8114.2020.15.011
    Abstract485)      PDF (1811KB)(675)       Save
In order to study the effects of cover plant in winter on the CH4 and N2O emissions from ratoon rice system, the CH4 and N2O flux was observed by the static closed chamber-gas chromatography method under the treatment of ratoon rice-fallow (CK), ratoon rice-rapeseed (FR), and ratoon rice-milk vetch (MR), respectively. Results showed that the CH4 and N2O flux of all treatments was low in the winter cover plant growing season, and was high in the rice growing season. The cumulative CH4 emissions in the main rice growing season occupied 85.89% to 97.48% of annual cumulative CH4 emissions. During the main rice growing season, the cumulative CH4 emissions in the treatment of MR was significantly lower than that in the treatment of CK and FR. Over the ratoon season, there was no significant difference in the cumulative CH4 emissions among each treatment, and which occupied 2.02% to 14.11% of annual cumulative CH4 emissions. The cumulative N2O emissions in the main rice growing season was 1.74 to 2.43 times of ratoon season. The cumulative N2O emissions of MR was significantly lower than that of CK in the main rice season, and there was no significant difference in the cumulative N2O emissions among each treatment in the ratoon season. The total annual global warming potential (GWP) of CH4 and N2O for each treatment was in decreased order of FR, CK, MR. And the GWP of CH4 and N2O in the rice growing season was significantly higher than that in the winter cover plant growing season. Meanwhile, the contribution of CH4 emission to GWP in rice growing season was much higher than that of N2O. Therefore, the main rice season is the key season for reducing the greenhouse gas emissions. And plant milk vetch in the winter season could reduce the CH4 and N2O emissions under the ratoon rice system compare plant rapeseed or fallow.

Data about fish diversity in the Zhujiang River estuary from 2016 to 2018 were collected for the water environment data analysis and species diversity assessment. The results of RDA analysis showed that water depth, dissolved oxygen, water coverage, salinity, pH and water temperature had certain influences on fish, among which the degree of chromium influence on fish diversity accounted for 25.92% of the variables of overall water quality. During the experimental period, the parameters of seawater quality changed over time, and the response of family, genus, and species of fish to nitrite and lead changes was the most senstitive, especially the Cyprinidae. The large amount of industrial pollution discharged affected the fish population size. In addition, chromium and petroleum substances were the significant conditions that determined the fish diversity in the Zhujiang River estuary and largely limited the activity value of ecological space.

    Abstract247)      PDF (5953KB)(366)       Save
Taking 19 counties (cities, districts) in Western Hubei as the research object, the PLUS model was used to simulate the temporal and spatial evolution law of cultivated land landscape under the constraints of natural conditions and the dual constraints of natural and socio-economic conditions, and clarify the important influencing factors of cultivated land landscape pattern. The results showed that the number of cultivated land in Western Hubei would still show a downward trend in the future. The main factors affecting cultivated land change were elevation, vegetation cover and hydrological conditions. The spatial distribution pattern of patch shape was significantly affected by topography, which was characterized by superior in the north and inferior in the south; in terms of time change, the cultivated land patch shape showed an obvious trend of optimization and development. In terms of patch pattern, the overall spatial aggregation, connectivity and fragmentation of the cultivated land patch in Western Hubei were poor, and there was a risk of continuous deterioration of cultivated land patch pattern. The difference of multi scenario simulation showed that the regular development of the cultivated land patch would be limited by social and economic activities, and only driven by natural conditions, the cultivated land landscape was easier to develop in the direction of complexity and fragmentation.

In order to investigate the effect of house-feeding on carcass traits and quality and nutrients of muscle, six male Jinchuan male yak and three male cattle-yak with similar medium body condition were selected randomly, and divided into two groups with or without the house-feeding, while the performance of slaughter, the quality and nutrient composition of the muscle among three groups (the yak, the cattle-yak, and grazing yak groups) were observed. The results showed that the live body weight, carcass weight, net meat weight and meat-bone ratio of the yak with house-feeding were higher than those of the grazing yak significantly (P<0.05), on the contrary, there was no significant difference between the yak and cattle-yak in the carcass weight, bone-to-bone ratio and the gain of body weight. The hydraulic performance of the yak muscle wasn’t affected by the house-feeding, which improving the tenderness of raw meat and the ratio of cooked meat and those are beneficial to the production of downstream process products. What’s more, the test results showed that the content of various nutrients and amino acids in the yak meat among the three groups were not different significantly, that is to say, the pattern of house-feeding have no significant influence on the nutrient of the yak meat.
