处理A、C、D、I孵化率(55.11%~62.64%)显著高于CK(33.64%)。

Abstract: To investigate the effects of different treatment methods of juvenile hormone and different concentrations of testosterone on the oviposition traits of Coccinella septempunctata, adult beetles were reared indoors on a basal artificial diet. Treatments consisted of topical application (A, B, C), spraying (D, E, F), and dietary incorporation (G, H, I) of juvenile hormone (0.5 μL/L) combined with testosterone at concentrations of 1.00, 0.10, and 0.01 mg/L, with the pure artificial diet serving as the control (CK). Feeding frequency, mating frequency, fecundity, hatching rate, and survival rate were recorded. After 20 days of continuous rearing, the feeding frequency of dietary incorporation treatments G, H, and I was significantly lower than that of topical treatments A, B, C, spray treatments D, E, F, and the CK control. Treatment H exhibited the highest mating frequency (0.113 times/min), which was significantly higher than that of all other treatments except G and CK. Treatment I had the highest total fecundity (66.33 eggs), significantly exceeding that of treatments A, B, C, F, and CK, followed by treatment H (61.13 eggs) and treatment E (50.20 eggs). The hatching rates of treatments A, C, D, and I (55.11%-62.64%) were significantly higher than those of CK (33.64%). The female survival rates of treatments B, D, F, G, H, and I were significantly higher than those of CK, whereas no significant differences in male survival rates were observed among all treatments. Overall, dietary incorporation of 0.5 μL/L juvenile hormone and 0.01 mg/L testosterone (treatment I) showed the best promoting effect on the fecundity of Coccinella septempunctata.

Key words: Coccinella septempunctata, juvenile hormone, testosterone, biological control
