Demand forecast of urban underground space in Urumqi——based on grey system GM(1,1) model

Abstract: Based on the data of Urumqi city planning text, socio-population and 2002—2016 construction land data to predicted the demand of underground space. By the per capita demand model and gray system model for the urban area of Urumqi, through the corresponding underground space allocation coefficient. After synthesizing the results obtained by each model, the future underground space demand in Urumqi was obtained. It was found that the development and utilization of underground space in Urumqi was in the stage of rapid growth, and which would continue to develop at a high speed for some time to come.
