Abstract: Taking the laying hen variety Beinong No.1 as the research object, Chinese herbal medicine (group B), Chinese herbal medicine + probiotics (group C) were added to the feed, and the bacterial community structure changes of the laying hens were analyzed by high-throughput sequencing, and the egg production rate were compared. The results showed that the intestinal bacterial community structure of laying hens fed with traditional Chinese medicine had obvious changes, and the ratio of bacterial diversity to non-added group was significantly lower, and the difference of group C was significant. The abundances of Enterococcus, Bacillus and Clostridium were significantly increased, and the abundance of Enterococcus was the most obvious. The abundance of Bacteroides was significantly reduced. The egg production rate of group B and group C was significantly improved. It can be seen that Chinese herbal medicine and probiotics can improve the intestinal bacterial community structure, promote the colonization of Enterococcus in the intestines of laying hens, and effectively improve the production performance of laying hens.
