Abstract: Based on the data of 396 large faming households in Hubei province, 13 variables including the characteristics of family members, family characteristics, technology supply and cost-benefit factors of grain production were selected, the multi-ordered logistic model was used to analyze the influencing factors of planting large households' willingness to grow grain. The results show that males and older grain growers have a stronger willingness to grow grain, and the years of grain production, family-owned machinery and equipment, agricultural training guidance, agricultural technology support, and food market prices are also significant for large farming households. And the degree of education, the price of production materials, and the price of alternative crops have a significant negative impact on the willingness of large farmers to grow grain.
