Abstract: Taking Yiwu city of Zhejiang province as the research object, this research used the coordination degree model to analyze the relationship between the social economic development and cultivated land area changes in Yiwu city from 2006 to 2018, and used the linear regression model to predict the coordination degree between the social economic development and cultivated land area changes in 2023 and 2028. The results showed that there was an obvious negative correlation between the social economic development and cultivated land area changes in Yiwu city from 2006 to 2018. The coordination degree of the two was low. In recent years, it was in a harmonious state and had not reached the coordination level. The coordination degree between the social economic development and cultivated land area changes will not change greatly in the next 10 years. Finally, some suggestions were put forward to promote the coordinated development between the social economy and cultivated land resources, so as to realize the sustainable development of the social economy and the rational allocation of the cultivated land resources.
