Comparative study on selenium enrichment ability of high quality rice varieties in Yichang city

Abstract: In order to screen out high-quality rice varieties with strong selenium enrichment ability,the selenium enrichment ability of eight high-quality rice varieties planted in large area in Yichang city was studied by spraying different concentrations of organic selenium (4.5 L/hm2,7.5 L/hm2,12.0 L/hm2).The results showed that Quanyou 10,Xiliangyouchaozhan,Quanyou 534,Jingliangyou 534,Ezhong No.5 and Efengsimiao could be used as common selenium-enriched rice(The selenium content was 0.100~0.199 mg/kg) production varieties,Guxiang88 and Yuzhenxiang could be used as special selenium-enriched rice(The selenium content was 0.200~0.300 mg/kg) production varieties.
