Secondary metabolites from fungus NBERC_51984 with herbicidal activity

Abstract: In the search for pesticides of natural products from microbes, fungus NBERC_51984 with herbicidal activity was obtained. In order to clarify the active substance basis of fungus NBERC_51984, its secondary metabolites were studied. By activity tracking and large-scale fermentation, 2 compounds were isolated and identified as Pseurotin A (1) and Bisdethiobis(methylthio)gliotoxin (2) by LC-MS and NMR. Pseurotin A was found to show herbicidal activity to Amaranthus retroflexus.
