Effects of planting densities and nitrogen application rates on yield of cotton variety Gangmian No.10

Abstract

Abstract: To study effects of different planting densities and nitrogen application rates on yield of cotton variety Gangmian No.10,the factors of nitrogen application rates and planting density were designed with three levels in this experiment.The results showed that nitrogen application rates,planting density and their interactions had highly significant effects on the yield of Gangmian No.10.When the density was 33 000 plants/hm² and nitrogen application rates was 225 kg/hm²,the yield was the highest.
