Abstract: Red culture has a unique value in the rural revitalization of the old revolutionary base areas. Giving full play to the advantages of red culture is an important part of the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy and a powerful driving force to promote the rural revitalization of the old revolutionary base areas. Southern Shaanxi is an old revolutionary base area, which not only has rich material form of red culture, but also has spiritual form of red culture represented by the spirit of southern Shaanxi soviet area. We should accelerate the new development of the old revolutionary base areas in southern Shaanxi, inherit and carry forward the spirit of the soviet Area in southern Shaanxi by taking red as the base; In order to realize the rural revitalization of the old revolutionary base areas, we should focus on developing the green economy of Southern Shaanxi with characteristics as the basis, highlighting the endogenous advantages of southern Shaanxi.
