Abstract: Under the background of rural revitalization strategy,the relative poverty problems caused by unbalanced and inadequate development in China have become the focus of poverty governance after 2020. This study pointed out that there was a coupling between rural revitalization and relative poverty governance, and analyzed the demarcation of relative poverty standards and the practical experience of poverty governance in some provinces at home and abroad, put forward the long-term governance mechanism for relative poverty, which including building the monitoring mechanism for poverty prevention, relative poverty identification mechanism, industrial poverty control mechanism, urban and rural integration development mechanism and perfect the social security mechanism, in order to provide reference for the governance of relative poverty under the background of rural revitalization strategy.
