Abstract: In order to select maize varieties with high yield and strong resistance, the resistance to five diseases of 10 varieties in the regional trial of combined maize was identified, and the relationship between main agronomic characters and disease resistance of maize was analyzed by principal component analysis. The results showed that the resistance of 10 varieties to stem base rot and ear rot was strong, and the resistance to silk smut and dwarf mosaic was weak; Taiyu 184, which ranked first in principal component analysis, was highly resistant to stem base rot, resistant to ear rot and moderately resistant to large leaf spot, so it had good comprehensive disease resistance; RF1915, the second highest comprehensive ranking, has the highest corn yield. Comprehensive consideration should be taken in maize breeding to select the best maize variety suitable for regional planting.
