Isolation,Purification and Pesticide Activity of the Secondary Metabolite Viridicatumtoxin A from Fungi NBERC_170302

Abstract: Secondary metabolites from fungal have always been an important source of drugs and leading compounds. In the search for pesticides of natural products from fungus, fungus NBERC_170302 with fungicidal and insecticidal activity was obtained. By active tracking and large-scale fermentation, the active compound was obtained and identified as Viridicatumtoxin A by LC-MS and X-Ray diffraction. Viridicatumtoxin A was found to show fungicidal activities to several agricultural pathogenic bacteria, and insecticidal activity to Plutella xylostella by further bioassay.
