Abstract: To solve the problem of deficiency of early-maturing fresh potato varieties in Enshi,a 3-site comparison experiment was conducted by using 11 new potato varieties introduced from the main potato producing areas. The results showed that the yield of Longshu No.12, Zhongshu No.3 and N191 were all over 30 000 kg/hm², which were increased more than 19.00% compared with the control Favorita. These three varieties have good comprehensive characters,which laid foundation for the supporting technology of cultivation and variety demonstrations.
