Abstract: To further enhance the level of land intensive utilization in Cangzhou City, based on land utilization data from 2018 to 2022,the analytic hierarchy process was employed to determine the weight coefficients of various indicators, including land input intensity, land utilization degree, land utilization benefits, and land utilization sustainability. Combined with the multi-factor comprehensive evaluation method, the land utilization intensity degree in Cangzhou City was calculated and the changes of land intensive utilization in Cangzhou City were systematically assessed. The results showed that the land utilization intensity degree in Cangzhou City exhibited a fluctuating upward trend during the study period, rising from 0.702 to 0.817, suggesting that the land utilization intensity was favorable from 2018 to 2022, but the land utilization efficiency remained relatively low. The output value of secondary and tertiary industries had a significant positive impact on land utilization efficiency. Increasing per-unit land technical labor input was conducive to improving land utilization intensity degree.
