Abstract: The strategy of the new type urbanization not only requires more efficient urbanization efficiency, but also strives for innovation on the characteristics of diversified towns. The characteristic small town pattern is just complying with the era trend of the characteristic development, excavating the local characteristic deeply and leading the local characteristic development. Based on analysis of the current situation and the demand for the transformation and development of the software industry park, a system establishment of the characteristic software industry and the industrial space cultivation was explored, and the cultivation of the characteristic small town in the software industry park was studied, and then the corresponding planning strategies for industrial cultivation were put forward.
