Abstract: The representative countries along “the Belt and Road” that had close trade relations with China in aquatic products were selected to conduct the comparative analysis by using RCA index, TCI index and GL index. The results showed that the aquatic products trade between China and countries along “the Belt and Road” had developed rapidly. Bilateral countries had different trade advantages, and cooperation mechanisms should be established in light of local conditions; The TCI index of China as an exporter of aquatic products was higher than that of China as an importer of aquatic products, there was a great cooperation potential for both sides. The bilateral trade of aquatic products showed a high degree of concentration,mainly the inter-industry trade, but the potential of cooperation with other regions still need to be developed. Finally, targeted countermeasures and suggestions were put forward, in order to help the development of aquatic products trade between China and countries along the “Belt and Road”.
