Abstract: Based on the new situation and characteristics of China’s wine industry development under the background of competition in the production area, the evaluation index system of wine industry competitiveness in China was constructed from the perspective of production areas, and the competitiveness of the wine industry in 12 major wine producing provinces in China’s nine major wine regions was evaluated by using combination empowerment and TOPSIS model. The results show that market share, industrial profit, industrial productivity and other factors have a greater impact on the comprehensive competitiveness of China’s domestic wine industry, and the industrial environment impact is relatively small. Therefore, according to its own local conditions and strength, each producing area should take targeted measures to cultivate and build a unique competitiveness.
