Research advances on protein interaction technology

Abstract: Proteins,the true executer of cell activities and functions, play important roles in the proliferation, differentiation, aging and death, and environmental response via complex and highly ordered dynamic interaction. The basic principles and applications of several related research techniques in protein-protein interactions, including yeast two-hybrid system, bimolecular fluorescence complementation assay, phage display technology, fluoresence energy transfer, GST Pull-down, co-immunoprecipitation, and bioinformatics in protein interaction research applications, and their development prospects were also prospected.
