Reference Significance of Conditions for the Formation of Follow-up Industry of Returning Cropland to Forest of Rural Revitalization——Taking Ankang City,Shaanxi Province as An Example

Abstract

Abstract: Rural vitalization cannot be separated from industrial support. Inspecting industries from the perspective of “production factors theory” would be a breakthrough to realize rural vitalization and poverty alleviation of mountainous areas. Ankang city of Shaanxi province had concentrated poverty-stricken areas and also ecologically vulnerable returning cropland to forest areas. A series of follow-up industries, such as plantation, aquaculture and tourism, had been formed in the returning cropland to forest program. Through an investigation into such industries, it was found that generally three basic conditions should be available for the formation of follow-up industriesnatural foundation, market prospect, and government help. These conditions provided an important reference for fulfilling the task of thriving businesses in the rural vitalization strategy of property-stricken and ecologically vulnerable areas.
