Abstract: The traditional village of Zhaijialing in Hubei province is chosen as the research object, from the theory of meme perspective, based on field reconnaissance survey, tease out Zhaijialing genetic lineage of traditional village culture. Combined with the difficulties and meme characteristics of villages in modern society, the protection and development strategies of repairing material cultural carrier, inheriting intangible cultural skills, perfecting rural governance mechanism and realizing rural industry revitalization are put forward.
