Abstract: In order to promote the high-quality development of rural tourism in Xi'an City, based on the experience economy era, the development status of rural tourism in Xi'an City and the types of tourism resources were analyzed, so as to find out the problems existing in the development process. It was found that there were some problems in Xi'an City rural tourism, such as imperfect infrastructure, single tourism product development, lack of innovation in tourism projects, insufficient publicity, low quality of employees, insufficient supervision and so on. In view of the above problems, countermeasures and suggestions were put forward, such as optimizing infrastructure, deeply digging cultural characteristics, setting up experiential activity projects, carrying out industrial integration, introducing high-quality talents, and standardizing the management system.
