Abstract: According to the survey data of past years, the price of early rice and mid-late rice in Hubei province were relatively stable in 2018, affected by many factors, such as the decrease of minimum purchase price of rice, etc., and the price of mid-late rice was lower than that of previous years. Due to the high yield, high price and high inventory of rice in China, the "three high" pressures still exist. With the rapid progress of destocking, the adjustment of the planting structure and the further strengthening of supply-side reforms, it is expected that rice prices will continue to close to the market in 2019. And a weak downward trend, the price polarization will be more and more significant.
