Abstract: To detect whether the two popular insecticides, neonicotine and diamide had joint synergistic effect on greenhouse whitefly(Trialeurodes vaporariorum), the single dose toxicity of acetamiprid (neonicotinic insecticide) and cyantraniliprole (diamide insecticide) against greenhouse whitefly was investigated firstly by using an improved agar moisturizing leaf-dipping method, then the combined toxicity of the two insecticides in a 1:1 ratio was detected. The joint toxicity was evaluated by the method of co-toxicity coefficient and co-toxicity factor. The results showed that the co-toxicity factor was 38.99, and the co-toxicity coefficient of the two insecticides was 190.13, indicating that the toxicity of the two insecticides against greenhouse whitefly showed a high synergistic activity.
